Dental Assisting Certificate IV

Hunter TAFEThis dental assistant course is for people who are already working as a dental assistant and want further certification to provide an advanced level of assistance to dental professionals. As well as advancing your dental assisting knowledge in health, medical and clinic procedures, you can select electives specific to general anaesthesia and conscious sedation, oral health promotion, extended duties and practice administration. Clinical placement is an essential component of course completion. When you finish this course, you will gain credit in Dental Assisting Certificate IV and can gain advanced standing in other health qualifications.
