
This health care course offers education to people who work or wish to work in a wide range of support roles within a hospital or home health care. Enrol in this health care certificate if you're interested in pursuing traineeships or an assistant role within the health care industry. You'll choose from electives that reflect the various functions of these roles, including health administration work, cleaning, laundry, food services and grounds maintenance. Work placement in a hospital or other health care setting is an essential component of course completion. After successfully completing these health care studies, you can further your education and receive credits for relevant units from other Health Training qualifications. You'll also gain articulation into Health Support Services Certificate III. Roles leading from this health care training include cleaning worker, food service assistant, grounds maintenance worker, maintenance assistant, stores assistant and laundry worker.
