
This qualification is for people working (paid or unpaid) or wanting to work in the fitness industry. You will gain skills required to work with individuals or groups as a fitness leader/trainer in a broad range of venues with a variety of different client groups. You will be required to undertake a large component of physical activity and exercise.
You should be aware that you may be required to be in physical contact with other students or simulated clients but this will always be practised and applied in accordance with industry codes of practice and ethics.

People seeking to enrol in the module 3223A, Senior first aid are advised that to successfully complete the module they must be able to perform basic life support skills, for example control bleeding and perform cardiopulmonary
resuscitation.
People who have a disability that would prevent them from performing required basic life support skills are advised that they will not be able to achieve the module.
