
Hunter TAFE education support courses are for people who have a desire to teach and are already working in a range of general education settings including public and independent schools and correspondence education services. Enrol in this education course and learn the skills required to become a support provider to teachers in order to help facilitate students' learning under broad-based supervision. The qualification contains units of competency which are common to other sectors, which you will gain credit for. Graduates can seek work as a teacher's aid, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander education officer, special education assistant, teacher's assistant, language worker or literacy worker.
