childrens services This childrens services course is ideal if you seek a career as a child-care worker or childcare assistant at home with a family or within a centre like family day care. Enrol in this human services training to learn how to care for children, create an individual child profile and plan leisure and play activities that will help kids achieve their developmental goals. You'll gain knowledge of the policies and procedures of child-care organisations, and completing this course may give you advanced standing in Hunter TAFE's Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) Diploma. Career options include childcare assistant, unqualified childcare worker, family day care worker or nanny. Please note that under the Children's Services Regulation 2004 you're unable to work in children's services until you are 18.
