Home and Community Care Certificate IV

This particular home and community care training looks at effectively providing support and services for elderly and disabled people with complex needs. You will also learn strategies for management and supervision of a small group of other workers. Please note those who enrol in the Apply First Aid unit must be physically able to perform basic life support skills.

NSW School Certificate (or equivalent from another educational authority) and recognised as competent either by a training program or recognition process, against the following compulsory units from CHC30308 Certificate III in Home and Community Care (or equivalent): CHCAC318A Work effectively with older people CHCDIS301A Work effectively with people with a disability CHCICS304A Work effectively with carers
