Home and Community Care Certificate III

home and community careThis home and community care training is specifically tailored to those caring for people in their homes or in a community setting. The program looks at providing support for the aged, individuals with a disability and other people who may require nursing or a carer service. Hunter TAFE's home health and community care program is ideal if you want a career as a care worker, community care worker, in-home respite carer, personal care assistant or support worker. Successfully complete this course for advanced standing in further home and community care courses including a Diploma in Community Services, Community Welfare Work, Youth Work, Mental Health, Disabilities and Alcohol and Other Drug Work. You may also be eligible for advanced study outside of TAFE NSW. Please note those who enrol in the Apply First Aid unit must be physically able to perform basic life support skills.
