hospitalityIf you'd like a career as a senior manager in the hospitality industry, then Hunter TAFE's advanced diploma of hospitality is for you. Learn how to lead, supervise and manage teams while advancing your knowledge in vital business areas such as developing a successful business plan, effective marketing to customers, managing financial operations and legal requirements. This hospitality training also teaches skills for a range of hospitality, food and service industries, including managing and maintaining equipment, premises and outlets. Take on a career as a restaurant manager or café owner, run a motel, manage accommodations within a resort or work as an area or operations manager. After successfully completing this TAFE hospitality program you may receive credits for relevant units in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package. Those who enrol in the Apply First Aid unit must be physically able to perform basic life support skills.

Candidates may gain recognition for current skills by submitting sufficient evidence such as resume, supervisor reports, work samples/portfolio and attending a peer interview panel. Entry Requirements

NSW Higher School Certificate (or equivalent) The NSW Liquor and Gaming Regulation requires students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking modules that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations.
