Hospitality

kitchen Hunter TAFE hospitality courses are for trainees and those seeking to further their career in the hospitality or tourism industry. Enrol in this hospitality training to work at an operative level within a range of hospitality establishments, from restaurants and cafes, to pubs, clubs and casinos. Build on your knowledge in customer service and communication and learn skills applicable to food and beverage, accommodation and gaming services. Graduate from this hospitality course and you can continue your industry training with a diploma of hospitality or Advanced Diploma course. You may also receive credits for relevant units of competency from other qualifications in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package. When you finish this course your employment opportunities include becoming a barista, wine waiter, front desk receptionist or perhaps a gaming attendant.

Entry Requirements

NSW School Certificate (or equivalent). The NSW Liquor and Gaming Regulation require students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking units of competency that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations.
