Entry Requirements

There are no formal educational requirements for this course. The NSW Liquor and Gaming Regulation require students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking units of competency that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations. To comply with these legislative requirements, students must be 18 years of age or older to undertake the following units in this course: SITHFAB009A Provide responsible service of alcohol SITHFAB001C Clean and tidy bar areas SITHFAB002C Operate a bar SITHFAB004A Provide food and beverage service SITHFAB005A Provide table service of alcohol beverages SITHFAB007A Complete retail liquor sales SITHFAB222A Conduct a product tasting for alcohol beverages SITHFAB227A Operate and monitor cellar systems
