 Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) Certificate III

hospitality commercial cookery Hunter TAFE offers chef courses for those with a passion for cooking and baking who wish to join the hospitality industry. This commercial cookery course is suited to those undertaking a chef apprenticeship and opens the door to joining the culinary world as a qualified cook.

 

Enrol in this chef training course and learn how to produce quality food, plan menus, control costs and hygienic preparation and service of a range of meals to a professional standard. Learn about communication, occupational health and safety procedures and workplace hygiene.

 

These cooking courses also offer elective units in various specific industry sectors. Once you've successfully completed this course, you may be eligible to enrol in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) Certificate IV and receive credits for relevant units from other qualifications in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. The NSW Liquor and Gaming Regulation require students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking units of competency that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations. To comply with these legislative requirements, students must be 18 years of age or older to undertake the following units in this course: SITHFAB009A Provide responsible service of alcohol
