tourism Hunter TAFE offers this tourism course for people who are seeking managerial work in the travel and tourism sector. Enrol in this tourism course and develop tourism management skills in hospitality. Skills applicable to the retail, tour wholesaling, visitor information services and tour guiding sectors of the travel industry, as well as supervisor, management and marketing skills will be taught. The department of Liquor and Gaming Regulation in Australia requires every student to be 18 years of age or older when undertaking studies that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations. Graduates can pursue an international or local career in a range of managerial positions, including retail agency manager, operations manager or tourism manager.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. The NSW Liquor and Gaming Regulation require students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking units of competency that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations. To comply with these legislative requirements, students must be 18 years of age or older to undertake the following units in this course SITHFAB005A Provide table service of alcohol beverages SITHFAB009A Provide responsible service of alcohol SITHFAB222A Conduct a product tasting for alcohol beverages
