Hunter TAFEThis events course is designed for people who enjoy being in the thick of things and want to work in the event planning and event management industry. You will develop the events management skills and knowledge required to be the coordinator of meetings, conferences and/or community, sporting and cultural events. This events training course will teach you the practical administrative and operational skills required by events industry support staff, from venue planning to coordinating schedules. Successful completion of this course offers career opportunities in roles such as event assistant or operative, conference assistant or exhibitions assistant.

Entry Requirements

There are no educational requirements for entry into this course. The NSW Liquor and Gaming Regulations require students to be 18 years of age or older if they are undertaking units that involve the service of alcohol and/or gaming operations. To comply with these legislative requirements, students must be 18 years of age or older to undertake the following elective units in this course: SITHFAB002A Operate a bar SITHFAB005A Provide table service of alcoholic beverages SITHFAB009A Provide responsible service of alcohol
