Occupational Health and Safety Certificate IV

occupational health safety Hunter TAFE's occupational health and safety courses offer occupational health and safety training that provides students with a recognised certificate. Students in this occupational health and safety course will receive safety training that will allow them to upgrade their OH&S skills and work as WorkCover trainers/assessors or safety officers, or supervisors with significant OH&S responsibilities. This occupational health and safety course includes study of the recent expansion of OH&S legislation and programs. Obtaining the recognised credentials in this occupational safety and health course will benefit anyone working with quality officers and human resources staff; insurance companies, risk management, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation officers.

Pathways into the qualification Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points including: - BSB30707 Certificate III in Occupational Health and Safety or other relevant Certificate III qualification OR - with extensive vocational experience in occupational health and safety roles. Examples of indicative job roles for candidates seeking entry based upon their vocational experience include: - Health and Safety Representative - Health and Safety Committee Member - Health and Safety Assistant. This breadth of expertise would equate to the competencies required to undertake this qualification.
