electrical tools This TAFE electrical engineering course is for people working as an electrical engineer or as a technician in the electrical engineering industry. The course offers electrical engineering training to provide you with the skills and competencies to design and evaluate electrical equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects and provide technical advice/sales on a range of technology. It includes ERAC requirements for an electrician's licence. Completion of electrical engineering courses will help you to obtain work in the electrical engineering trade in a range of roles including technical officer, engineering officer and engineering technologist.

There are no formal educational requirements for entry to this course. However, the Electrotechnology Training Package recommends typical language, literacy and numeracy skill levels needed to successfully complete each Competency Standard Unit undertaken. Learners should either be in relevant employment or have access to appropriate simulated workplace environments to achieve the completion requirements of this course.
