Electrical - Renewable Energy Certificate IV

renewable energy Hunter TAFE offers a number of renewable energy courses for those working in the renewable energy/electrical field. This renewable energy certificate provides competencies to enable you to select, install, set up, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems (including solar energy, wind and water technology) and equipment in buildings and premises. It includes ERAC requirements for an Electrician's licence and competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain renewable energy equipment and systems. Successful completion of this renewable energy TAFE course will help you find employment as a renewable energy electrician or you may choose to further your renewable energy education with a program in renewable energy engineering or industrial electronics.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal educational requirements for entry to this course. However, the Electrotechnology Training Package recommends typical language, literacy and numeracy skill levels needed to successfully complete each Competency Standard Unit undertaken.
