This course is for people who want to become a Special Class Electrician.
The course provides national competencies to enable you to select, install, commmission, fault-find and maintain electrical systems and equipment with options, typicaly in explosion protection; electrical machines; electrical inspection; safety auditing; contracting; lifts; and energy supply/distribution.
The course includes national Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council requirements for an 'Electrician's licence'.
This qualification includes the UEE07 Training Package unit UEENEEG005B. Learners will be eligible to apply for a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30807) qualification upon successful completion of the UEENEEG005B unit plus its associated pre-requisite units and elective unit requirements.
The Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30807) qualification meets PART of the requirements for issue of a 'Qualified Supervisors Certificate - Electrician' from the NSW Office of Fair Trading which permits the holder to work unsupervised on low voltage fixed wiring and equipment and to directly supervise others in
this work.
