Hunter TAFE's electrical instrumentation courses are for people wanting Special Class Electrician jobs, including those currently undertaking an apprenticeship.
The electrical instrumentation training you will receive provides national competencies to enable you to select, install, commission, fault-find and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment in buildings and premises and instrumentation systems and core instrumentation equipment for process and control. It includes national Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council (ERAC) requirements for an 'Electrician's licence'.
Upon completion of this course you may choose to undertake further study in areas including Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics or as an Electrotechnology Technician.
