This Hunter TAFE electrical trade course is designed for people in relevant employment (an apprenticeship) wanting to attain a trade qualification as an electrician. This electrician course provides national competencies to enable you to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in both domestic and business buildings and premises. It includes national Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council requirements for an 'Electrician's licence'. The Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30807) qualification meets PART of the requirements for issue of a 'Qualified Supervisors Certificate - Electrician' from the NSW Office of Fair Trading, which permits the holder to work unsupervised on low voltage fixed wiring and equipment and to directly supervise others in this work. The electrician training you will receive will teach you the required skills to complete your electrician apprenticeship and commence work as an electrician in the energy and solar power industries.
