Flooring Technology

Hunter TAFEThis course is for trainees and others who want to acquire the skills and knowledge to work in the floor covering and floor finishing sector of the furnishing industry. You will learn how to prepare sub-floors and install carpet, timber and resilient flooring; apply finishes to floors; and repair existing flooring. You will also learn about occupational health and safety, communication, calculations and working with others.

 

This qualification may be accessed by direct entry. Credit can be granted towards this qualification by those who have completed LMF10108 Certificate I in Furnishing or achieved equivalent industry experience.
