community pharmacy The Hunter TAFE community pharmacy course is for people interested in a career in retail pharmacy.

Enrol in this community pharmacy certificate to acquire the skills and knowledge required to be an entry-level worker in a community pharmacy.

You will receive pharmacy training in the typical functions expected within the community pharmacy industry at this level including serving and interacting with customers, merchandising products and controlling stock, understanding the product range and the roles and responsibilities of pharmacy assistants and pharmacists, communicating with customers to identify needs and provide appropriate product advice, service and/or referral.

Completion of this course will prepare you for employment as a pharmacy assistant.
