Transport and Distribution (Marine Engine Driving - Grade 3)

transport distribution marine engine driving grade 3 This maritime training course is for people wanting to work as a Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 on board commercial vessels with engines up to 250kW operating offshore and/or 500kW inshore. Enrol in this marine engineering course if you want to achieve competency in taking charge of the machinery aboard a seagoing vessel where the main propulsion machinery does not exceed 500kW. Evidence of sea time/service on board a vessel will be required to obtain a Certificate of Competency from the state regulatory authority. After graduating from this course you may choose to further master your skills and become a Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 (MED 2).
