Transport and Distribution (Coastal Maritime Operations - Master Class 5)

transport distribution coastal maritime operations master class 5 Hunter TAFE's Master Class 5 courses are for people with a strong interest in a maritime career, working on a variety of transport vessels including yachts and boats. This Master Class 5 training will help you to develop the practical skills and knowledge required to work as a Master Class 5. You will learn how to take charge of a commercial vessel of less than 24 metres length, operating up to 100 nautical miles from the coast (endorsable to 200 nautical miles). Evidence of sea time/service on board a vessel will be required to obtain a Master Class 5 certificate of competency from the NSW Maritime Authority. The next career step for a person with this qualification is to become a Master Class 4.
