transport distribution maritime operations This maritime training course is for people wanting a maritime career. You will undertake safety training and learn how to work as a general purpose hand on commercial vessels operating in areas up to coastal and middle waters. Successful completion of this course will allow you to apply for advanced standing in other Hunter TAFE maritime training services such as Certificate II in Transport and Distribution (Coastal Maritime Operations - Coxswain) and Certificate II in Transport and Distribution (Marine Engine Driving - Grade 3). These courses open up a realm of maritime related careers, including advanced navigation, boat or vessel pilots, first mate and maritime management and security.
