Hunter TAFE's pest control courses provide training for pest controllers who work in a commercial pest control environment.
You will learn how to detect pest damage and the presence of pests, carry out appropriate treatments (such as using pesticide and eco friendly treatments) and advise clients on pest prevention and control. You will also learn how to assess pest management options, provide quotations and preventative pest management programs, and repair and maintain equipment and vehicles.
When you finish this pest control training you can apply for advanced standing in the Certificate IV in Asset Maintenance (Pest Management) (1406).
