TAFE NSW Hunter Institute

Preparation for Work and Study Certificate I

preparation work studyThis is one of three adult learning courses available at Hunter TAFE for adults who want to improve their literacy and numeracy skills. This adult learning course combines innovative styles of teaching with traditional reading and writing work to give you the confidence and skills you need to get ahead in your career or apply for further studies. Adult education courses are ideal for people who may have experienced difficulty completing their education due to poor health, isolation, cultural and language differences or lack of support. A 'basic life support' unit is available as part of this adult training course. People who have a disability that would prevent them from performing basic life support skills are advised that they will not be able to achieve this particular unit of competency. When you have completed this course, you might consider a number of other adult learning classes.
