Hunter TAFE literacy and numeracy courses are aimed at people who require adult literacy training to embark on further study or to find a job. If you have had trouble completing your schooling due to lack of confidence, language or cultural differences, illness or isolation then this may be the best literacy course for you. Hunter TAFE adult education and numeracy programs will help you to improve how you read, write and speak in English as well as teaching you basic maths, all of which will help you realise your study or employment goals. A 'basic life support' unit is available as part of this course. People who have a disability that would prevent them from performing basic life support skills are advised that they will not be able to achieve this particular unit of competency. On completion of this literacy and numeracy course, you may consider further study options.
