TAFE NSW Hunter Institute

Developing Skills for Work and Study Course

preparation work studyThis literacy training course is the perfect starting point for people who require adult literacy training in order to seek employment or begin further study. It is one of three literacy programs offered by Hunter TAFE that covers the basics of adult literacy and numeracy by combining educational games, activities and other innovative teaching methods to give you the confidence and skills you need to improve your study or career options. This literacy course is ideal for people who may not have finished school or who have experienced other barriers to education due to illness, isolation, lack of support or cultural and language differences. When you finish this course, you may wish to further your adult education and enrol in the Preparation for Work and Study - Stage 2 Statement of Attainment or the Preparation for Work and Study Certificate I.
