TAFE NSW Hunter Institute

Elementary English Language Skills Course

Student and teacherESOL courses are for adults from different backgrounds who have extremely limited English language skills. As a student on this ESOL course you will learn to listen, speak, read and write in English. There is an interview prior to commencement to ensure that this is the right adult education course level for your English language ability. Please contact your campus about this before you enrol. Completion of this English course will enable you to participate in the wider Australian community, do further study or progress in your career, potentially giving you the option of eventually teaching English overseas. Once you have completed this course, you may wish to continue learning by enrolling in ESOL (Access) Certificate I.
