Routine English Language Skills Certificate II

Student and teacherHunter TAFE offers a number of English courses to help you improve how you listen, speak, read and write in English. This English speaking course is designed for adults who have limited English. Our ESOL classes are targeted at students with a minimum English language proficiency of International Second Language Proficiency Ratings (ISLPR) 1, or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 3. Hunter TAFE teachers will help you to learn English by focusing on vocabulary, grammar and sentence construction. Completion of this English course will be valuable when seeking employment, progressing in your current job or applying for further study. Before you enrol, please contact your campus about this course to ensure it will be right for your current level of English. Students who successfully complete this course may be eligible to enrol in more advanced English language courses.
