Basic English Language Skills Certificate I

This course is for adult migrants and refugees whose first language is not English and are at a post beginner level. Participants may be newly arrived or have been in Australia for a long time.

The course assists participants to live in the Australian community, get a job, do better in their job and/or undertake further study at TAFE or University. They will learn how to listen, speak, read and write in English.

Students can attend from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 20 hours depending on their individual needs, this will be determined at enrolment.

Please phone 65 421 142 to arrange an appointment to be interviewed. The interview will take approximately one hour. You need to bring your passport and visa documents if you are not an Australian citizen.
