We recommend that students either start at Certificate III (course 9285) or the Diploma (course 10386), since both these courses are embedded in the Advanced Diploma. However, the student still has the option of enrolling directly into the Advanced Diploma if they prefer. We recommend students also consider course 10390 since it offers a broader range of elective units to study.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualfication. However, because of the analytical nature of some of the units, it is recommended that applicants have - MEM50205 Diploma of Engineering - Technical or - NSW Higher School Certificate (or equivalent). It is also recommended that applicants are already employed, or seeking employment, in the Metals and Engineering industry.
