computer lab Hunter TAFE offers programming courses in basic programming skills in languages used in commercial systems. Enrol in this programming training to learn about programming processes, iPhone app programming, game and web programming, appropriate development methodologies and a number of industry-applicable programming languages, including Java. This IT course provides a natural progression into the Information Technology (Software Development) Diploma. Career opportunities include applications analyst, applications programmer, computer engineer or programmer.

Students will need to purchase USB flash drive (at least 4GB) and textbooks to the value of approximately $150.00. Students will also need to do independent study outside of class times. In order to successfully complete this course students require literacy skills equivalent to Year 12 completion.
