The course is being offered in this 6 month format for students with advanced skills in networking. Applicants MUST have completed a CIII in Information Technology, preferably in Network Administration. Applicants who have completed a different CIII in Information Technology MUST attend class during the first week of the mid year holidays and complete further directed, independent study before the start of the semester.

Delivery Information

Class times will vary between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm over 4 days per week. Actual days and times of attendance will be confirmed at the Information Session. Students will need to purchase USB flash drive (at least 4GB) and textbooks to the value of approximately $150.00. Students will also need to do independent study outside of class times. In order to successfully complete this course students require literacy skills equivalent to Year 12 completion

Pathways into the qualification ------------------------------- Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include: - after achieving ICA30111 Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology, or other relevant qualifications or units equivalent to the core of ICA30111 OR - with demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments in a network support role, including administrator, manager, operations analyst, operations engineer/technician, or technician.
