information digital media technology network administration This information technology course is for people wanting the information technology training to become proficient in a range of general information, digital media and technology functions. Register for this IT course to learn how to provide effective business support across a number of information and communications technological (ICT) areas. Information technology courses at this level will enable you to acquire a broad education in computer science and computer engineering and develop skills in network administration, licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification considerations. On course completion, you will have attained a degree of technological independence and may be eligible for advanced standing in Certificate IV level education, including further IT training courses. Career opportunities leading from the qualification include help desk officer or assistant, ICT operations/user support and PC/technical support. Please note that although there may be some alignment with industry certification; other than three electives, there's no link between this award and licensing, legislative or certification competencies.
