Plumbing Certificate III

plumbing pipes This Hunter TAFE plumbing course is a trade course for apprentice plumbers. Enrol in this course to learn about plumbing and heating, plumbing services repair and, depending on the electives you choose, skills in gas or water services, drainage, sanitary services and metal roofing. This course satisfies the educational requirements of the NSW Office of Fair Trading for the issue of a Plumbing Tradesperson Certificate, so you're qualified to perform plumbing work under the supervision of a licensed plumbing contractor. With further experience and study, you can become a plumbing contractor with your own business.

Entry Requirements

NSW School Certificate (or equivalent). The Occupational health and Safety Regulation 2001 in NSW administered by the WorkCover Authority requires those entering and carrying out construction work on a site must have completed the general construction induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (SAC 2006). Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
