This course is designed for those with carpentry apprenticeships and gives you construction and tools skills to efficiently produce quality work in the building and construction industry. Enrol in this carpentry course to also learn about renovation and maintenance and the application of safe work practices. This TAFE carpentry course is primarily for the residential sector of the industry, but can be customised to address the specific skills needed for most building and construction or allied enterprises. Successful completion of this course allows you to articulate into and from any General Construction course with comparable competency standards. You can also articulate into other relevant Construction Training Packages qualifications such as Civil Construction and Off-Site Construction. Pursue a career in building and construction from trade level to managerial level by articulating into post-trade courses, diploma, advanced diploma and university courses.
