If you're passionate about food and keen to learn a range of baking techniques, then this baking course offers you a broad range of industry skills. Using specialist equipment, you will learn how to create a range of quality bread, cakes and biscuits plus high-end specialty products such as gateaux, torten, petits fours and chocolate. Alongside key competencies such as operational OH&S practices, you will be taught cake decorating, sugar work and master the skills of a pastry chef. When you finish these specialist baking classes, you may gain advanced standing in related Hunter TAFE courses and/or our short baking courses.
