Our education and training has an immense reach with more than 64,000 students enrolled across a wide range of industry areas. Programs are delivered by 2,500 industry qualified teaching and support staff through a variety of flexible modes including on the job and online.

Programs for the Future

Hunter TAFE delivers job-ready graduates across all industry areas.
Online and workplace delivery options support 15 regional campuses and overseas study points. Course delivery is flexible, with around 1 in 5 students choosing online and distance education modes.
Supported by strong industry links, more than 30% of education delivery across the TAFE network is outside the classroom. Hunter TAFE provides credit transfer and articulation arrangements with more than 15 Australian universities and colleges.

Sustainability

Hunter TAFE plays a key role in helping our region move towards an environmentally sustainable future. We have adopted a range of programs and strategies to move our organisation, local businesses and the community towards greener production and consumption. We train or retrain workers in environmentally sustainable work practices through individually customised courses. We also support businesses in taking proactive actions to become more environmentally aware. Hunter TAFE is a proud foundation member of Together Today - an environmental initiative which aims to transform the Hunter into Australia's most energy and water efficient region.
